Choosing a course

How to choose the right course

Picking the wrong first course is the most common reason people abandon programming — not because they lack the ability, but because they started somewhere that did not match their actual goal or schedule. This guide helps you decide before you spend anything.

1. Define the goal first, then the tool

«I want to get a job in software»

Start with Python for absolute beginners, then move to advanced Python. Python has the gentlest learning curve while being used across AI, data analysis and backend work — one language opens several doors.

Courses on this path

«I want to work in AI»

If you already know Python, go straight to machine learning. If not, beginner Python comes first — machine learning without Python is like reading a book without knowing the alphabet. If your aim is applying AI in your current job rather than building models, the AI Tools course is faster and cheaper.

«I want to do design and graphics»

Photoshop is the standard starting point because it has the highest demand in the Iranian market. After that it depends on your path: Illustrator for logos and illustration, InDesign for layout and publishing, and Sketching to build hand-drawing skills and quick concept sketches, a foundation for product and interface design too.

«I am looking for a class for my child»

For a child under 10, Scratch is the best start because it builds algorithmic thinking without typing code. From 10 to 14, Python for kids suits better. If your child is drawn more to building and hardware than to pure coding, robotics for kids is the better choice.

2. Group course or private?

Every Danaverse course can be taken two ways, and the difference is not only price:

Full group course

The complete syllabus in a small group, with a fixed start date and the base price. Suited to someone who wants the full structured path and draws energy from classmates.

Personalised private course

Only the modules you need, on your own schedule, with the instructor focused entirely on you. Each module costs around 60% more than the group rate. Suited to someone who already knows part of the material or has limited time and a specific goal.

3. Three start dates per course

Every course runs three intakes. You choose your intake at registration, so there is no waiting for 'next term'. If none fits your schedule, the private format is scheduled entirely around you.

4. Questions worth answering before you enrol

If you do not yet know which field interests you, take the free talent test before choosing: 18 questions map your profile across six dimensions and suggest a path. If you already know the field, any course with 'beginner' or 'from scratch' in the title is the right entry point.

Still not sure?

You have two free ways to decide: the talent test, which suggests a path matched to your profile, or a phone consultation with a Danaverse advisor.
